David Todd

Company Position
Chief Executive Officer

I joined 3tc as the Financial and Commercial Controller in 2001, before heading up a management buyout in 2004 and becoming CEO where we established the business as an independent company.

Outside of work I coach and manage two kids’ football teams, who my boys play for, and enjoy
relaxing by walking our dog, a springer spaniel called Fidget and enjoying a nice glass of Malbec.

Facts: In 2010, with my fellow Director Simon, we climbed Mont Blanc and Kilimanjaro and ran the
New York Marathon all over a period of 90 days. This was for three deserving charities. In my youth,
I was also an Alan Shearer lookalike!

Simon Clough

Solving problems with technology makes me tick and I love meeting and working with people to make things happen. In my spare time, I can be
found either playing golf, running, cycling and, making stuff out of junk, or more often, making junk
out of stuff!

I re-joined in 2014 as a Project Manager and more recently as Commercial Operations Manager. My key focus is working closely across the Teams to make sure that we’re planning and delivery excellent service to our new and existing Clients.

When not at work you’ll find me letting my hair down at gigs and festivals or walking my two labs.

Rachel Todd

HR & Payroll Manager

I joined 3tc in November 2009 as the HR & Payroll Manager. If I do have any spare time, after running around looking after the men in the house; my two teenage boys and husband, I love baking, reading and walking our springer spaniel, Fidget.  This is normally followed by a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc in the evenings!

Fact:  I celebrated coming first in a running race in year 2, at the Infants school, only to find the starting whistle was for another race and no-one else had set off! L I’ve not liked running since.

At the weekends I like to relax by caravanning with the family, walking our dog Ollie and hosting dinner parties. I also enjoy a nice cold glass of Chablis.

Evenings or weekends I can be found pounding the pavements or covered in mud in the local woods or fields as the ladies team captain for my running club.

Fact:  Ended up in A&E with a broken elbow after only achieving half a roller rink circuit, bad move on my part thinking I had still got it from my roller disco days!!!

Robin Bigger – Emergency Services Consultant

Following a long and rewarding career with NI Fire & Rescue Service, latterly as Head of Control & Operational Communications, I have joined the 3tc team as their Emergency Services Consultant.  I am proud that together with 3tc colleagues I can continue my lifelong passion of providing the very best possible life & mission critical control room and ‘at incident’ solutions to those at the sharp end, where seconds along with resilient and effective applications really do count.

Previously as a senior fire officer, with responsibility for operational communications, I worked with many different suppliers and agencies on many different ‘blue light’ projects and I know from experience that 3tc’s applications, already trusted by many of the UK’s emergency services, really do provide world class solutions that absolutely do work for our equally world class emergency services.  Being able to give that assurance about our solutions to emergency service colleagues is the focus of what I do at 3tc and is extremely important to me.

With lots of experience that includes Control Centre Management, C&C, Command Support, GIS, Strategic Response Planning, Training, Incident Management, Operational Communications, Incident Ground Technology, Solution Design, Project Management and Procurement, I provide first-hand experience and valuable insight of the ‘blue light’ world for the 3tc team.

Outside of work you could find me spending time on the beautiful North Coast of Northern Ireland or perhaps researching local history, cooking Sunday lunch or carrying out some DIY.

Fact: I have had a brief acting career in a local production, sung in a choir and am qualified as a CAA accredited emergency services UAS (drone) pilot.
